Drew Sawyer
Drew Sawyer is an art historian and a curator who holds the title of the Sondra Gilman Curator of Photography at the Whitney Museum of American Art where he co-curated the 2026 Whitney Biennial. His exhibitions include Copy Machine Manifestos: Artists Who Make Zines, Suneil Sanzgiri: Here the Earth Grows Gold, Jimmy DeSana: Submission, Art After Stonewall, 1969-1989, and Liz Johnson Artur: Dusha. Sawyer holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Columbia University.
